2012 Fiesta Engine Malfunction Warning
40 k miles. Manual transmission.
The "Engine Malfunction" notification comes in on the center console. The car feels sluggish and there is a braking feeling when I let off the gas. It is a manual transmission, but this is not normal engine braking. It feels spongy and un-responsive, but will continue driving at normal speed.
If I stop the car and turn it off, it starts up like nothing happend and works fine. No codes are tripped, or indicated.
Today the light came in again. I got out my code reader and connected it while the car was still running and the notification was still displaying on the screen. Nothing, no codes, no malfunctions, misses or anything that my code reader could detect.
Any ideas?
