Default 2016 F-150 Choppy and hesitant up shift on highway!!!

Hey Guys! Really hope I can get some help here! At high speeds of 40mph+ my 2016 f150 3.5eco has a lot of what feels to be some kind of misengagement where my truck is trying to shift up but feels like it needs a little time to lock in place. I have no clue if it is my trans slipping or some carbon build up issue, or what. PLEASE HELP .

Suggest you have your vehicle checked for any pending codes. There would be a laundry list of possibilities and better thing to do is see if the computer has picked up anything unusual..

Thanks man! I certainly will. However I’m just not sure what to even think, I’m like the only person with such a new truck that’s having this issue.
