2019 F250 6.2 Electrical issues
Hey, I have a 2019 F250 crew cab 4wd that is having some electrical issues. Full disclosure I bought it with a salvage title due to flood in hopes of fixing up for myself.
The symptoms are
Parking brake randomly pops up on dash as being on while driving. When this happens it can be for a few seconds or currently several minutes before going away. The horn sounds and the door locks lock and unlock
Hazards lights randomly come on after turning the truck off.
The truck can be hard to start if I don't turn the key to on for a few second before cranking.
The truck other then that runs and drives as it should. I have read a lot around the BCM and ECU modules on the truck and it seems to point in every direction. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

We would think,
PCM controls many assorted vehicle functions ,conveniences and some engine functions too.
Engine control would involve and control engine operating and related functions only
Due to the circuits involved it helps when power requirements are supplied by more than one supplying route.
Helps make diagnosing a little easier too.
A little reminder: just looking at plugs and wires is not thorough enough. The connection has to be unplugged and look inside at the pins and plug material. Corrosion can usually appear as green or white material on or between the contacts that sometimes provides an unintended path for electrical current to go or prevent it from going.
That can result in a short circuit path or prevent the current from going through the intended path .
