Default 36 mm nut on fan clutch

1992 TBird 5.0. Trying to do a water pump but puzzled on how to remove the 36mm nut on the fan clutch, yes the serp belt is still on.

Thanks

Now that I look at the new water pump, there aren't ant threads. Do I tap the fan/clutch assy after removing the four bolts?

Ok, feeling pretty stupid about now. Looked like a seal/bushing on the water pump, but it was a thread protector sleeve...DOH!

Anywho, still can't loosen the 36mm nut.

Since no one knows....heres the answer: Go to Autozone and rent their fan clutch wrenches. You will be done start to finish in less than 2 hours with those wrenches.

I am sorry that I did not see this sooner. Autozone/Advance/and I believe Napa offer tool rentals. Having the proper tool can make a hard job quite easy. I am happy to hear that you found a tool to rent.
