5.0 in Mountaineer interchangeable parts

5.0 in Mountaineer interchangeable parts
I have a 97 Mountaineer with a 5.0 in it. The seal around the timing cover is leaking coolant. The shop says it is having issues finding the timing cover, timing set and other parts. Can I use 5.0 mustang parts from 95? Are they interchangeable?
