Default 91 F-150 Transmission question

Hi, New member here with a '91 F-150 4x4. My old truck gets used too work, pull a car trailer and haul stuff. Gas millege is not an issue I am worried about. Yesterday the AOD said goodbye when I was parking a loaded trailer and I guess I gassed it a bit to hard because something poped and now she has no forward gears.

My question is if I want too use a different transmission like a C4 or something will I have too change transfer cases or get a different driveshaft? She is a long wheelbase (short bed ext. cab)
In short what all other transmissions would be a direct bolt in other than the stock AOD?
