i have a 94 explorer with 327000 miles, just drove cross country and made it home, next morning i went to start it and it would not turn over. the engine cranks with no observable problems, just won't start up, the fuel pump is only a few years old, the filter is clean. i checked the line and it's pumping fuelout the engine side of the filter. the battery is good, after serveral attempts to start, it's still got a good charge and is craking the engine. no obstructions in the air system, the only clue i had was the last time i stopped for fuel, the engine chugged a little after i started, i stopped and restarted and the engine fired up and got me the rest of the way home no problems. the next morning all this started, i'm a descent mechanic but have no trouble shooting skills to speak of, any assistance would be greatly appreciated

 

You didn't mention spark, have you checked to make sure it is working?
