Default 95 f150 4x4

were having problems with our 95 f150 pickup. it will turn over but not fire and its not all the time. we have checked the fuel filter and its ok, we know its not the pressure valve. it has spark. it will start sometimes if we just keep trying. today it just wouldnt start though. of anyone has any suggestions we are open to any help.

Clean MAF sensor with MAF sensor cleaner. Clean Air intake temperature sensor. Once you get it running search for vacuum leaks.

Just a quickie, if you trip the inertia switch and reset it you will have eliminated one possibility.

Sounds like a fuel pressure problem, especially if it coughs and 'wants' to start but dies right away. Connect a Fuel pressure gauge when it happens. These old trucks has some problems with the fuel pumps. And also check the fuel pump relay. On something this old, anything could be wrong.
I bet if you did an EEC test, you'd get a 542 (fuel pump secondary circut low), which means the processor saw 0 volts (indicating an open in the fuel pump circutry) when it was expecting to see some voltage. It was a really common problem.
