Last week I had a charging problem with my Escort so I replaced the voltage regulator and my Escort alternator was charging again but I noticed the brush set was worn so I bought and installed those too. That is when my problems started, from that time forward my Escort would not start.

List of things checked or replaced:

I have no Spark
I replaced the coil pack
I replaced the alternator (did not have to be replaced)
Checked al fuses

Has anybody had this problem? What should I do next? Thanks for the help ahead of time.

 

are the plug wires shot..... and does it have gas (not trying to be a smart ***)? just wondering. otherwise i dont know.

 

Full tank and new plugs and wires.
