Hi, I just pulled a trailer with my explorer. now it will start but the gear shift lever wont move. I turn it off it still wont move. I was able to jam the lever real hard and it works fine after I get it out of park. I can start it in nutural an put it in drive no problem. when I put it back in park it get stuck bad? Its a coloum shift with a v6 with tilt. Whats going on and how do I fix it Thanks Dan.

 

Sounds like the solenoid for the park release for when you have your foot on the brake isnt working, either solenoid or brke light switch also check for blown fuse for brakes lights.
