'98 Escort

Default '98 Escort
I was driving my car this morning and I heard a loud pop from under the hood and the car died out. I thought it to be the timing belt but its not, I'm an amateur mechanic but one of the lines from the intake manifold is leaking and very loose. I was wondering if anybody knows what might be the problem.
