AC/heater prob/ fan will not kick on Grand Marquis

RE: AC/heater prob/ fan will not kick on Grand Marquis
You hear the AC - what exactly do you hear? Does it blow out anything, cold or warm? Does it blow cold air when the car is at idle, then gets warm when you accelerate? Also, you feel the heat from the heater - does the heat come out of all vents, just on the floor, just on the upper vents or just onthe defrost ventswhen the control **** is turned to those areas?
I'm trying to determine whether this might be a caused by a vacuum leak, low freon, ventilator door, actuator, climate control unit, sensor, blower motor, etc., so that's the reason for all the questions.
EDIT: Rut-roh, just realized this thread is over a month old. Hopefully, the problem has been resolved. If not, please give us an update.

I hear(w/ A/C on)the drain on the engine.
It does not "blow" anything(A/C,Heat,even just vent)
I can "feel air(cold with A/C,hot w/ Heat)barly coming thru the vents when on the highway.
The problem use to be intermittent but now never works.
I can not find a bok on this car or the "Relay" for the blower.
Any help would be gratly appreciated.

Sounds like a failed blower unit since it was intermittent and finally failed. Thesestill use brush designed motors and since they are basically running all the time, the brushes probaly finally are worn to the point that they don's make contact with the armature. You could check by appling voltage directly to the unit. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
