great idea since the car is way the f outa warranty. ill probly be paying them to take the p.o.s. away. and as for the rental, they dont usually give those out for free with out of warranty stuff u know. so yea great idea.

 

i cant exactly just be like uum yeah this problem started 4 years ago and i want it fixed now. oh and give me full market value from 4 years ago. hhmmm....wait maybe it was 7 years ago. YEAH F'IN RIGHT

 

is this vehicle your primary driver? if so, i would get it back and drive it, and not worry about it...if they cant find an error in the airbag system, it cant be anything serious...
