When batterys on a diesel go bad put 2 new ones in lots of dollars but that is what it takes. Is the pump shutoff letting the the pump have fuel to start or does it use a elec fuel pump? And is the glow plugs working?

Sorry, but you lost me on these threads. As far as bleeding the brake lines, you need to get all the air out of the system. Are you sure you did not depress the master cylinder all the way down the first pump when pumping the brakes up after installation of the master cylinder? If you did, there is a possibility the cups in the MC have rolled allowing the fluid to bypass.

Second post has me confused. Sorry.
