can I start it by poping the clutch?

Default can I start it by poping the clutch?
I have a 1996 Probe that the starter is just spinning and was wondering if I can push it and pop the clutch with the key on?

Should be no problem.. Make sure the key has been cycled on just prior for fuel pump run time..
