i shut off my car now it won't start it has a good spark good fule pressure i even tried starting fluid but the spay would not go in the carb no suckion any one have this problem before

 

On a simiar case, my bro powersprayed the engine compartment but to no avail. Inspect if your injectors were firing. I recommend that you check the battery cable to the starter and your battery as well. Also check all your gounds(ground straps are properly connected).

 

is the carb in good shape and how much is the battery producing because it may be on its last let as it needs alot of cranking amps

 

hi, i would test the engine timing, sounds like it could be the timing chain. i had a 289 ford that did the same thing, i shut it off and there was no way it was gonna start, static timing seemed ok, but when i cranked it over i got absolutely nowhere! i found the timing chain EXTREMELY STRETCHED!! (i used to own an 84 gt...great car and very FAST!!! good luck!
