CD PLAYER AND CHILD (BAD) HELP PLEASE
HEY YA'LL HOW YOU DOIN? WELL MY 2 YR OLD DECIDED TO PUT A QUARTER IN MY 05 ESCAPE'S CD PLAYER AND NOW I CAN'T GET IT OUT!!!! I TRIED TO GET IT OUT W/ LIKE A MAGNET AND A PAPER CLIP AND STUFF BUT IT DIDN'T WORK! THE CD PLAYER W/ LET CD'S GO IN AND OUT BUT NOT PLAY!! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME BY EXPLANING AN EASY OR ANY WAY TO GET IT OUT W/ OUT HAVING TO GO TO THE DEALER!!!! PLEASE

It's probably going to require that the audio unit be removed and then coin removed.. I can give you direction to pull the audio unit, and you may get lucky and have it come out the same way it went in, tipping/rolling the unit with the load slot downwards.. If not the cover plate can be removed for a little better access to the 'change'.. It requires radio removal tools that most of the local auto parts/tool dealers sell.. Is this a CD6 unit?

At most auto part stores, you can purchase a telocope-type mechanics magnet (its powerful) . This item will allow you to fish around within the whole CD compartment area, and will most likely grap the coin inside. Wish you luck!
