I purchased a cold air intake off of ebay (big mistake). The instructions are very vague and tech support is non existent. On the stock intake you have the MAF sensor along with a series of wires a few inches away on the bottom side of the air box. The new kit has a hole for the MAF sensor, but has nothing and says nothing about the other wires. I called their "tech support" The guy couldn't tell me what the wires are for but he told me I didn't need them and to unplug them or cut them off. I have a problem cutting wires or unplugging something with out knowing what the wires are for. Does anyone know what these wires are for? Will my Expedition run the same with out them? Or is this guy a complete schmuck that sent me the wrong kit? Thanks in advance!
