I swapped me 2.0 dual motor in my 99 zx2. The motor i used was from a manual trans car, and mine is a auto. Now I can't get the cp sensor to fit all the way in, and the car wont start. Any help would be great!

 

I believe the length of the sensors is different between a std as compared to an automatic.

 

The sensors are the same, it was the housing. I had to remove the motor and change the housing.

Now it runs but sounds like something is hitting inside the trans! I removed the sensor and it is not hitting the sensor. I hate this car!
