Creaking noise when turning wheels
I have a 17 fiesta with the 1.6 sigma and hit (ramped) a curb in an attempt to avoid a truck who ran a stop sign.
I hit hard enough to bend all 4 wheels. After getting different tires on and patching the lower radiator hose I now notice that the front pass wheel creaks/moans when turning . Nothing obvious or rubbing is visible.
my guess is CV shaft but are there any other suggestions ?
It doesnt make this noise if I jack the tire off the ground .
I do not see anything bent or broken when I crawl underneath the car and it seems to ride fine otherwise.
Just to be clear:
**the car will be looked at after the holiday and I am hoping to just get by for a few days**
Also, is there any way to replace the lower radiator hose without removing the alternator which requires a special serpentine tool?
