I am converting my 86 full size bronco from EFI to Carb. Can anyone tell me what I am getting in to?

 

An emissions night mare... You may have some issues as to timing advancement if the distributor is advanced by the computer. I would ask why do you what to toss TBI. TBI does not have the same issue with extreme grades as carbs due.

 

I know how to work on carbs, but not fuel injection. The job is done now, I had to get a distributor from an 84 302, and the timeing is great. I put an RPM performer package on the thing, and it sounds like a monster. The only thing now is getting the AOD tranny to work correctly. I have got it to where it will go, but I have no power in low gear, and it shift really hard at high RPM. I have to figure this one out now.
