Will a carb intake work on fi heads? I know I will have to change timing covers and add a mech. fuel pump, found a wrecked doner car cheap. Thanks

 

What are you attempting to do this on?

 

Wanting to put an 88' LX 5.0 in a 78' Fairmont. I am pretty old school and never have messed with fi , just trying to make this swap easier on myself before I buy the Mustang. I have used a carb intake on an early 80's 302 that had tbi on it with no problem. Just did not know for sure if fi heads are completely different or not.
