Well I got the second exhaust manifold back on today. I tapped the holes, scraped the old gasket off, applied some anti seize and torqued the bolts.

Looking good and you're doing it the right way. Taking you're time...

On a side note: When you get to the intake manifold, DO NOT over-torque the bolts. Over-torquing of the intake manifold bolts to the cylinder heads on 302 and 351W engines can cause head gasket sealing problems.

It has many bolts which perhaps to derive this car for using different types of bolt must be able to consider with cylinder heads on 302 and 351w engines are available to determine that some time causing the problem also of gas sealing .
