F-250 Steering problem?

Default F-250 Steering problem?
Just got a super-duty with a 7.3 powerstroke. it's a 2002 , Need to know if it is normal for the steering to tighten up when the brake is pushed? thanks for any help you can give.

Have you checked the power steering fluid? I think your vehicle has hydro-boost braking and the brake system is pulling the fluid away from the steering.
