I work for a Ford Dealership and I have experienced a problem with
an F-Truck 250 7.3 V8 diesel, which is Australian Delivered.
once the engine get to nominal temperature an inconsistant rattle around
the left hand bank area appears. It sounds like spark jumping. But obviously there are no spark leads. We have already replaced
lifters , injector, and we have checked rockers and rocker towers for
hair line cracks.
Can anyone shed light on subject. Vehicle still within warranty.

 

Have you checked the cam senser? or the pump timing? Do try the Ford tech hotline , but I do not have their direct number.
