Default ford e350 van problem

Hello all. I have a ford e350 superduty cutaway service van. It is 2004 with 175000 miles on it. Recently while on the highway, it started making a woo woo noise from the front end. It still does, but after 40 mph and it gets louder if I turn right, while moving. If I turn left while moving, it goes away. I brought it in to a front end shop and had the ball joints and wheel bearings replaced. Nothing else was evident as a fault. Drove it and the same thing. Brought it back in and was told that the front rotors and calipers needed replacement. That would be the culprit. I p/u the parts and replaced them my self with new pads. Test drove the truck, same thing. I don't know what it could be? Can someone help with this please? Thanks in advance. Geo.

Will it make the noise at the same RPM but the vehicle not moving?

Or is this a possible rear end noise that is being telegraphed throughout the chassis?

It only makes the noise when driving, sounds like a woo woo rubbing sound. It comes from the front left side. I will see what it is like today. Once it warms up I will rotate the tires and see if it makes a difference, but I doubt it.

You could try this; go under the van and look at the U-Joints. Look for any rust at any of the crosses and their bearings. I believe there are 3 U-Joints , the rearmost one usually goes first. You're going to get a lot of things to look at .

I found the culprit. After driving to the job site, 50 miles on the hwy, with a clunking sound and a new grinding sound. I found the rear drivers side tire sitting on an angle. After removing the hub cap I saw the lug nuts at the end of the threads, all 8! Rim is trash since it was free riding along the hub. Now I need 8 new studs and 8 new lug nuts, new rim. Can't believe that a shop could not find this? Thank God the wheel did not come off while driving!Geo. U joints are fine, I checked those already. Geo.
