Hello!!! I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help. I have a 2007 Ford Escape with around 250,000kms. Mostly at highway speeds and occasionally around town it will sputter once or twice. No engine light is on to get a code. I've replaced the IAC but that didn't fix the sputters. Any ideas what the problem is?

 

Have the ignition components been recently replaced?

 

It's always a good starting position to inquire about plugs and coils, but even if they have been recently replaced and the problem developed afterwards , it is not uncommon for one of the replacement parts to be defective.
