Question, I'm new to Ford and I have a 1988 E250 with a MPI 5.8 liter #51W with a C6 automatic. I'm asking about the special tool needed to remove the "clips: from the second high pressure fuel pump. I'm thinking it's time to replace it and the filter (189,000). I don't understand the type of pliers needed. Any help tool suppliers etc. would be appreciated. I searched on ebay but could be sure of what type is correct.

Just about any auto supply store should be able to supply the correct tool for that. Some are plastic , some are metal.
