I have an 02 Mustang GT with a Mach 460 stereo. I called up Ford and asked them if they could put in an HD radio tuner for it, and they said Ford doesn't make any right now, but if I bought a tuner they'd put it in for me. I want to keep the stock radio because of the 6 CD in dash changer. Does anyone know what my options are right now?

 

Ask for a qualified Ford service technician (who has experience in electrical wiring) to help choose a Hi Def. tuner that will work with your stock system or you can find a local auto electronics installer who knows better how to go about retrofitting one in (which may or may not be difficult). Or there may be an electronics expert out there who could go over the schematic of the radio and patch one right in (if they don't plug in easily right from the tuner manufacturer).
