hey i need help i got this motorcraft carb its a 4 barrel but the id tag is missing and i was wondering if someone could help tell me the model or what it was used on? how much would it be worth if i rebuilt it? all its missing as far as i can see i havent took it apart yet is the choke cover and the choke piston. thanks for any help you can give

You might try a couple of auto stores and see what they charge for a rebuilt carb.

 

i just wanted to know if anyone knew about the 4 barrel motorcraft carbs theres 2 or 3 diff models and i dont know which one this is cause i havent rebuild any of the those. i can rebuild it tho ive rebuild alot of holleys in others just wanted to know if the were a market for the motorcraft 4 barrel i just had it laying around the shop and was going to sell it or rebuild it and sell it if i could make a buck off of it

 

This actually is (don't pin me on this, I threw my old carb ID bood away a few years ago) a Holley version of the Ford carb (they were all pretty interchangable). The center fuel inlet is the giveaway. Very few fords had that. Also, it looks like it came from a car with A/C.
