guys i need help badly i took a running 3.0 motor out of a 2002 ford ranger and put it into a 2001 ford ranger changed motor wiring harness along with pcm and engine bay harness and also changed the gem module all from original 2002 ranger and it will not do anything any ideas???

 

Well, let's see !
Sounds like you did everything right, except, the ign key !
Your original key will not work with the "new" pcm/gem.
It might work if you removed your original key tumbler and installed the ign key & tumbler from the 2002. There could be other reasons, but that is the first thing that came to mind.

 

Thanks for the reply .I failed to mention in the original post I changed out the whole steering column with the switch still in it from the 2002 ranger
