hey im jim i own a 2003 ford falcon ba xr6 turbo and im having trouble with my trip tronic transmission. the gear box is fine its electrical i think.

when i push it into performance mode nothing happens. on the dash bord instead of displaying P R N D it displays D for all of them, and i lost cruse control??? it changes gears fine i just need some 1s appinion cause ive been stuffed around by 3 mechanics now.

I'm not an auto mechanic but when something electronic starts to act up the first thing to try is a hard power reset. Disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds and then reconnect it. Make sure everything is turned off.
