loose steering

Default loose steering

wondering if anyone can help...I have a 2002 explorer sport the steering on it feels very loose and it jumps around when I hit bumps or even road dots... I have just put 20 inch wheels on it and also have put new bearings/brake caliper.brake pads.rotor. & also new outer tie rod end. but steering it still still. due I need to due hieght adjustment or is there a way to tightn steering or is it just an alignment..any help would be appreciated...thank

Try putting the stock wheels back on and to see if it acts the same. My guess is those 20" wheels are a bit to much for that explorer sport.

I dont think its the wheels cause it was doin it with the stock wheels also...

It's possible that you have bad shocks. Also, don't forget that the size of the tires that the manufactures put on a vehicle are BUILT INTO the suspension and how it handles. Since you said that it was doing it before hand, I would replace the OEM shocks with a set of Monroe REFLEX shocks in all 4 corners. They'll help give you that STICK TO THE ROAD feel.
