My ranchero completley dies when I floor it

Default My ranchero completley dies when I floor it

It starts up fast idles no problem cruises with no problem but once I mash it, it completley dies need help guys thanks

if you floor it, right before it quits does spit and sputter or just stalls out?

I can think of one or two problems. gas for one, maybe not enough or
too much. Or a vacuum leak, again maybe too much air or the
distributor not advancing fast enough.

BTW I have a 77 Ranchero

Start with the most obvious place: the carb. Sounds like a power valve is stuck closed.
