When the MyKey is active, the Lane Assist defaults to "Alert" only when starting the car. Even when I change it to "Alert + Aid", it goes back to "Alert" only next time I start the car. This only happens with the MyKey, not the Admin key. I have even tried setting up the MyKey with the "Alert + Aid" on. Even after doing this, it reverts back to "Alert" only. Why can't the MyKey default to have "Alert + Aid" or allow it as a default setting? Is there a way to do this?

 

The system may be receiving a signal something is not right. There is the possibility a sensor is sending no or incorrect info. Was any type body or front end work done recently?

 

Nothing like that. The "issue" is actually both on my 21 Ranger and 23 Bronco, so I believe it is a software coding issue or oversight.
