Default Not Starting

I have a 2000 F-150 5.4L. It's having a lot of trouble starting, hot or cold. Once it does start it runs great. No erratic idle and driving is normal. Any ideas??

May not be the problem, but a bad DPFE sensor can cause starting problem regardless of the engine temp.

I would go to Auto Zone and have the codes pulled for free. This will save you money.

Also you may want to look for vacuum leaks or more importantly a dirty MAF sensor.

If you are in the Orlando, Fl are look up Mobile Oval Automotive. They are Ford dealer Tech's and they charge about 1/2 of what the dealer will charge.
