2007 ford edge awd started to make a clunk sound shifting from first to second after a nine hour trip. The sound is occasional not constant. is this the right place to ask if anyone can tell me what to do about this. I still have the power train warranty on the car thank you

it is a v6 automatic 2007 edge awd

 

Considering the warranty is still in effect, get the problem recorded while the warranty is in effect , then if they don't fix it under warranty you will have some recourse.

 

It's going into a ford garage next week. I've read elsewhere on line about this happening to other edges. We'll see. Thank you
