Question Please Help me if you can

I have a 1996 ford f150 4.9 liter fuel injected throttle body and I am trying to replace my fuel filter I have it off but in the process I messed up the internal locking device inside the fuel lines that connect to the fuel filter. Can these be purchased individually. any help would be greatly appreciated. If not what other options is available to me
Thanks Tracy

If you are referring to the metal fingers in the ends, yes, I have purchased them separately. There were two sizes, 5/16 or 3/8 , that was the size method I used to describe them. Also be careful of the special "O" ring in the line they are available separately also, however, they may be a "Dealer Item" only.
It helps when you have the correct tool to separate those connections. And that, you should be able to purchase at any auto supply store.
