Possessed 2000 Focus SE Wagon
My son has a 2000 Ford Focus SE wagon that has been behaving very strangely lately. It started with door locks. The auto locks stopped working and the doors had to be manually unlocked. Several of them actually won't manually unlock either. Then one of the rear windows dropped and wouldn't open or close (probably unrelated to the locking issue). To make matters worse, the speedometer doesn't work properly now. When it starts, the speedometer doesn't work, and the car seems to be reving higher than it should be. One light has been coming on occasionally. It's the one with the "!". The manual says its "Multi-function: Automatc transaxle/cooling system. The car will sometimes jerk, then this light comes on. The car was recently serviced and they didn't find anything that would cause the light. (The locks died after the servicing) Does any of this ring any bells with anyone? Do I need to call in a priest?
