Ive lost the keys to my 94 fiesta 1.3 [:@]I have got a remote starter immobiliser to replace the lost keys. my problem now it how to disable the pats immobiliser.

Would it be possible to reprogram an old ford key and cut off the metal and leave the handle in the car so that i can remote start the engine.

Ive found instructions on how to reprogram the pats to recognize a new key but dont know if I will be able to use an old one with a transponder in the handle.
