I bought a used 5 button remote fob, identical to the two that came with the car. I put a new battery in it. I found instructions on the Ford website to program it.

I have followed those instructions three times, but with no success. First off, what is the "center console pocket"?
I called Ford and talked to a woman who didn't understand what I wanted. I called again and was told that I have to take it in to the dealer to have it programmed. So far, not really impressed with Ford technical support. I've had better luck on the forums getting my questions answered.
Any suggestions that will save me a trip in?
