relay issues 2007 mk4 mondeo 1.8 tdci
Hi guys wonder if you can help?
2 days ago I lost my heater, central locking and instrument cluster.
After moving some relays around I got it all working but now have the engine management light on and its down on power and I cant feel the turbo kicking in?
can anyone tell me what relay would be the duff one as the owners manual is about as much use as a trap door in a canoe!!!
many thanks in advance :-)

I like your analogy of the trap door, cool!
Some basic questions, when was the fuel filter last checked/changed, and air filter too ?
Once you provide the air and fuel now we can go to what controls them.
Were you able to get an idea of what codes may be in the vehicle's computer since the engine mgmt lite is illuminated ? The codes, if any, could provide some direction and save some time and trouble.

This is just a wild shot, but what if you switched the relays once more? Do you get the same problem you had before you switched them ? There could have been a poor connection, but if you can create the same problem by switching relays, could one of them be defective, what do you think on that?

Yeah have switched them back and forth! Have also disconnected the battery for a couple of hours but still have engine management light on and very down on power. Feels like turbo is not kicking in. But this has only happened since the other electrical issue. So is there a relay/ fuse that would control the turbo?
