Just received my remote start kit (7l2z19g364aa) in the mail sans instructions. Problem is you need to be a dealer to access the
installation intructions online.

Has anyone installed this kit before? It seems like it fits a lot of Ford cars and trucks.

Does anybody have access to the instructions? Or, at least a wiring diagram for a 2008 Edge?

Hi Al, Welcome to the site..

I've installed quite a few of the remote units, although I haven't done an Edge yet.. You don't need access to Ford's secured site, the install steps/schematic and programming info is available over the net through fordaccessoriesstore.com I'ts a little involved to install the kit, but not too bad.Their a nice unit and work well.. My remote start in my 05 S/D can start the truck insideconcrete buildings, or inside the marketwith the truck all the way across the parking lot.. If you need help with the install or programming the unit let me know..

What level of remote did you get, standard (remote only)?

Looked up the part number, and the system is the standard remote (RMST) bronze, so the install is easier over the security kit..
