Default replacement shocks for a 65 mustang

I've got a really original 65 and want to keep it that way as much as possible. When it comes to replacing the shocks what are my options in keeping the ride true to its assemble line condition? NOS? (where to find), Off the shelf (MCA approved)? or is this a replacement item that isn't judged to harshly by the purest's?

I don't know about the judgement of the purest, but Edlebrock has a shock for your year call Classic Ias Shock.
