OK, I'll play...

First the sarcasm...
Porshe? How about PORSCHE. After driving one for 14 years I would think that somebody whould be able to spell it correctly. What model did you have? A 944, 944S, 944 Turbo, 944S2, or the 944 Turbo S? If you need something firmer and lower, why did you buy a truck? Makes no sense to me.

Second...
Anyways, there are several manufacturers of lowing kits for the F-150. Search the WEB, they are everywhere. Here are 3 places you can look.

If you lower your truck you will normally get a harsh ride. That depends on several items like springs, pinion angle and most importantly shocks. If you just put on shackles in the rear you change the pinion angle, your truck will want to bounce. If you install springs that are very stiff and don’t change the shocks you will get a bouncy truck. Best thing to do is to question the manufacturer of your kit if they have done any engineering to make the parts match. Many cheaper kits will give you a lower ride and a nice bouncy ride.

Sorry for the spelling retired and all three sets of glasses in the truck.

She was a 85 1/2 944 with 347,216 miles.It was time to move on,senior citizens have a much better use for a F-150.

Especially now I can haul the bike on boring slabs to the twisties.
Just suddenly got too old to ride 300-400 miles round trip on the bike.

Thanks for the sites

No problem on the sites. Not a bad bunch of miles. Thought you'd get a kick out of the spelling. I always blame the keyboard. I has a friend that had an 86 944. Didn't last long for him. Couldn't drive for squat and trashed it. I wouldn't let him borrow a broken tricycle. The biggest thing with the drop kits is to get a good complete kit from a quality MFG. Always better to pay a little more than to have something let go when you leat expect it or have to pay additional coins to make something work.

Hereare someBELLTECH kits sold thru stylintrucks.com
