Hi all,
I have a 2004 F-Explorer (Eddie Bauer) Since I brought this truck 5 months ago i noticed that the steering is not to smooth like my fathers expedition 2002.
I was wondering is this a common thing for this truck or is there anything that i could do to it to make it smoother on the turns. (like any mods?)

Check the power steering fluid.

The power steering fluid is filled and looks ok.
I was just wondering if its just allford explorer that dont have that smoothsteering.
Or is it just mine. My 1990 ford thunderbird has a smoother steering.

Steering should be smooth. Could be that the seals are going on the rack causing the problem.
