Default Weird heating and cooling issues

Hey everyone!

Sorry if this isn't the right place but I assume this probably affects more than just the Focus...

Quick notes, the car in question is a 2012 Ford Focus (yeah, tons of problems) with sync and digital temp settings.

When my wife turns on her climate control, regular vent and AC respond the same. Low is very cold (colder in AC setting) then pretty much any temp above 60 eventually becomes very hot. Some times I can go to 65 without it getting hot but it's not really consistent.

This is a picture of what her console looks like if it helps.

Any thoughts on what might be going on?
