Hello, I am new to the site but have always been a ford owner currently I have just bought a 2002 crown vic police interceptor runs great handles like a dream but the air conditioning doesnt blow cold. It all seems to work but blows hot air. I tryed to charge the system with 134a but it didnt help any ideas on where or what I should start with would be greatly appreciated I am pretty mechanically inclined just dont have much Knowledge about a/c systems.

 

Did you check all the fuses?
Do you know where the low side pressure switch is located?
Do you hear the magnetic clutch engage at all when you turn the A/C on ?
