Default 02 F350 sway bar link

I own a 2002 F350 with 5.4l engine. I am replacing my sway bar links. The drivers side went good but on the passenger side I unbolted it and when I tried to remove it the top portion hits the exhaust pipe before the bolt is completely out of its mounting holes. Anyone else have this problem if so what's the solution. Thanks

If both ends are disconnected, you might find it easier to do what you are trying to get done.

Both ends were disconnected and it still couldn't come out. I'm gonna try denting the exhaust pipe. All I need is 1/4"
