Had a humming noise that sounded, and felt in steering wheel, like it was a front hub assembly. Jacked it up spun the tire and sure enough the driver front had some noises. Replaced it and test drove to only hear the same damn noise. So, I rotated the tires and still a humming noise, but different. Both cv axles in the rear were done less than 6 months ago.Im not one to throw parts on one after another to fix a problem. I also checked the universal as well as shaft end play and was within spec. Has anyone on here gone through this too? And we're the hell do I go next?lol

Did you check the right front for play as well? Ive replaced wheel bearings where there was noise but no play before, jack it up, spin the wheel and use a mechanicals stethoscope to listen to the hub.
